Restricted zones
A safety zone has been established for the explosives storage facility in relation to the maximum permitted storage of explosive substances and articles. Where the explosives storage facility is fully screened by solid rock formations, the safety distance to buildings, etc., and roads may be reduced by half in the directions where full screening is achieved. A safety zone has been established of 250.0 metres from west via north to south-east and 500.0 metres from south-east via south to west. The area is located beneath the obstacle limitation surfaces for the helistop (approach and transitional surfaces), where the maximum ridge height of buildings and structures is variable and increases with a positive gradient away from the take-off and landing area.
