Reading guide

The municipal plan is divided into 4 sections, as shown in the menu items at the top of the page:

Vision and main structure cover the entire municipality as a whole. Here you can also find an explanation of the relationship to other planning and a status description describing developments in recent years.

Town and village plans contain a description of the municipality's 12 settlements in relation to population and housing, business, infrastructure and supply, public and private services, and culture and leisure. Goals for the development of each settlement are described. The town and village plans contain both general and detailed provisions for the sub-areas of the settlements, i.e. business and residential areas, center areas and areas for public purposes, etc. The provisions may concern use, development conditions, roads and paths, etc. Buildings worthy of preservation and conservation areas are also designated.

Open countryside includes areas outside cities and settlements. These areas are divided into 5 different types and general regulations are laid down for each area.

Area allocation sets rules for allocating areas based on the overall planning.
