Construction sites
As a new feature, the theme "building sites" can now be accessed as a layer on the large map (Map) and on the maps under all sub-areas of the municipal plan. This theme is updated when new overall framework regulations are adopted through municipal plan amendments and when Local Plans with new detailed local plan regulations are approved. The theme can also be updated in connection with major construction and civil engineering projects. At a minimum, the theme is updated during a municipal plan revision.
Guidance: If you are looking for a vacant building plot, you should contact the local Sullissivik or village office, which can advise you on whether the building plot is currently vacant.
Boundary distances
- The building plots are either 10 x 12 m or 12 x 16 m and the sizes are adapted to the development and the character of the area.
- Boundary distances are laid out for each building plot and the boundary distances from each building plot are 7.5 m if there is no fire brigade with a fire truck.
- If there is a fire brigade with a fire truck, the boundary distance can be reduced to 5.0 m.
- The boundary distance is calculated based on the use of class 2 cladding.
- It can be reduced further if class 1 or more fire-resistant facade cladding is used.
- Other calculation assumptions are stated in the Building Regulations.
- The building plots are included in the Detailed Local Plan Provisions of the municipal plan, and this allows the Municipal Council to exempt itself from these rules.
